Blake and I decided to go up to Express Creek towards Taylor Pass to check out the area on one cold afternoon.  We took Nordic ski, skins, and little to no experience on Nordic skis.
 
Putting on skins after some frustration with sliding backwards.
 
 
Some turns that people have put in.  Terrain like this had me longing for my alpine skis.

Taking a break from attempting to ski down on cross country skis.  After a few falls on the way down, Blake and I decided to put on skins to slow ourselves down.
 
Here we are after a few falls on the way down, but still smiling.
 

Here is Vince, a guy we met on the way down who was sledding down the trail.  He was definitely having a good time.
