Colorado Alpine Trail Runs: An evening with CMC Press author Annalise Grueter

Join CMC Press author Annalise Grueter on Wednesday, July 20, at 6:00 pm for a free online slideshow presentation on her new book, Colorado Alpine Trail Runs. Combining the joys of hiking and peak-bagging with the thrill of moving fast and covering lots of ground, high-mountain trail running is more popular than ever. The author will show color photos and share route intel on some of the best trail runs across the state. For those new to the sport, tips about how to get into trail running will be covered, as well as trails to start with, gear and safety tips, and Leave No Trace ethics. Colorado Alpine Trail Runs features 45 spectacular running routes that vary in length from 4 to 30 miles, with options from easy to challenging. Every route reaches an elevation over 11,500 feet and includes at least one alpine pass, lake, or summit.
